Social class is probably one of the most important things in the novel. Bingley sisters do not want Jane Bennett, because they are getting married this class lower than that of the society they are. The same goes for Darcy and Elizabeth. The Bennets have very little money, especially when compared with Bingley and Darcy. The upper levels of society frowned upon, those who have less money, because I saw them as less educated and play important role.
